No, you don’t need an appointment to see a GP at VitalMed. Our walk-in GP service allows you to see a doctor at your convenience during our operating hours.

Yes, we offer same-day appointments based on availability. For urgent care needs, our walk-in service is always available during operating hours.

We accept cash & most credit/debit cards. For more information on payment options, please contact our practice directly.

We will keep you updated when arrangements with insurance companies  are in place. In the meantime, we can provide you with a receipt or invoice for your requirements.

Yes, our doctors can provide prescription refills if under our regular care or if in urgent need. Otherwise, you should visit your attending GPs for repeat prescriptions for safe continuity of care. Please bring your current prescription/s or details of your medication/s to your appointment.

If you need a referral to a specialist, our doctors will assess your condition and provide the necessary referral. We work with a network of trusted specialists to ensure you receive the best care possible.

If you require urgent medical attention outside of our operating hours, please visit the nearest emergency department, or call emergency services, or contact your attending GP. VitalMed is committed to providing timely care, but we recommend seeking immediate assistance in case of emergencies.

Services & Pricing

Prices are correct at time of posting and may be subject to change without prior notice. We accept payment by cash and all major credit and debit cards. Payment is required at the time of consultation. This list is not exhaustive.

As this is a private practice we cannot reimburse any fees from the HSE. If you cannot find a price for a service you are looking for, please contact the practice directly.
IMPORTANT NOTICE

* Medical or sickness certificate will not be issued WITHOUT prior consultation.

** Appointments for prescription of opiods, benzodiazepines, or sleeping tablets are NOT encouraged and will not be fulfilled.
